Welcome to Knight Games. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Knight Games website, applications, games, features, and related services available through knightgames.app and any associated Knight Games domains or applications (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, joining a game, or otherwise using Knight Games, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About Knight Games

Knight Games provides online casual games and related entertainment features. Games may include single-player games, multiplayer games, party games, card games, dice games, board games, puzzles, and other interactive experiences.

Knight Games is intended for entertainment purposes only.

Unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise, Knight Games does not provide real-money gambling, wagering, betting, or games in which users can win money or items of monetary value.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction.

If you are under the age at which you may independently agree to online terms in your jurisdiction, you may use Knight Games only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors who use the Service through accounts or devices under their control.

You may not use Knight Games if your use of the Service would violate applicable law.

3. User Accounts

Some Knight Games features may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account;
  • keep your login credentials secure;
  • not share your account in a way that compromises its security;
  • promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization; and
  • accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law.

You may be able to sign in using third-party authentication services such as Google, Yahoo, Facebook, or other supported identity providers.

Your use of those services is also subject to the applicable provider's terms and privacy policies.

Knight Games does not receive or store your third-party account password when you authenticate through an external identity provider.

4. Game Rooms and Multiplayer Features

Knight Games may allow users to create, host, join, or participate in multiplayer game rooms.

Game hosts may have additional controls, which can include starting games, configuring game settings, managing participants, or ending a game session.

You agree not to intentionally disrupt games, exploit software defects, manipulate game results, impersonate another player, interfere with other users, or use unauthorized software or automated systems to obtain an unfair advantage.

Temporary interruptions, synchronization issues, connectivity problems, or software errors may occasionally affect a game.

Knight Games does not guarantee that a game session will always be completed, preserved, restored, or scored without interruption or error.

5. Fair Play

Players are expected to participate fairly and respectfully.

You may not:

  • cheat or intentionally exploit bugs;
  • manipulate game state outside the intended game mechanics;
  • use bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized tools to play games unless Knight Games specifically permits them;
  • intentionally interfere with another player's connection or gameplay;
  • attempt to access information that should not be visible to you;
  • abuse bugs or vulnerabilities for personal advantage; or
  • coordinate with other users in a manner that violates the intended rules of a game.

We may take reasonable action to protect the fairness and integrity of Knight Games.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Knight Games to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or intimidate another person;
  • distribute hateful, obscene, defamatory, fraudulent, or unlawful material;
  • impersonate another person or organization;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, computer system, network, database, or server;
  • upload or distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful software;
  • conduct denial-of-service attacks or intentionally interfere with the Service;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, or collect information from the Service using unauthorized automated systems;
  • probe or test Knight Games systems for vulnerabilities without authorization;
  • circumvent security, access controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions;
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial communications;
  • infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of another person; or
  • use Knight Games for illegal gambling, wagering, or betting.

We may restrict or suspend activity that threatens the security, reliability, integrity, or availability of the Service.

7. Usernames, Player Names, and User-Submitted Content

Knight Games may allow you to submit information or content such as usernames, display names, game information, drawings, messages, feedback, bug reports, or other material ("User Content").

You retain ownership of User Content that you own.

By submitting User Content to Knight Games, you grant Knight Games a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, and transmit that content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit any User Content you provide.

We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.

8. Feedback and Suggestions

We appreciate ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, and other feedback regarding Knight Games.

If you voluntarily submit feedback, you agree that Knight Games may use, modify, implement, or incorporate that feedback without restriction or obligation to compensate you.

This section does not transfer ownership of unrelated intellectual property that you own.

9. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and third-party materials, the Knight Games Service and its original content, software, designs, graphics, interfaces, logos, game implementations, documentation, and other materials are owned by Knight Games or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use Knight Games for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

You may not copy, modify, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected Knight Games materials except where permitted by law or with our written authorization.

Some games available through Knight Games may be based on traditional or commonly known game concepts. References to third-party product names or trademarks, if any, are for identification purposes only and do not imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement unless expressly stated.

11. Third-Party Services

Knight Games may integrate with or link to third-party services, including authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics services, notification services, or other technology providers.

Knight Games does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent practices, availability, content, security, or terms.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies established by that provider.

12. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, use, and handling of personal information is described in the Knight Games Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in that policy.

Users who wish to delete their Knight Games account may use the account deletion process provided by Knight Games.

13. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Knight Games may send service-related notifications such as game invitations, game status updates, turn notifications, account notifications, security messages, or other communications associated with features you have enabled.

You may be able to control optional notification preferences through your Knight Games account settings or your browser/device settings.

Certain administrative or security-related communications may still be sent when reasonably necessary to operate or protect your account.

14. Service Availability

We work to keep Knight Games available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • maintenance;
  • software updates;
  • hosting provider interruptions;
  • network failures;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party service outages;
  • technical problems; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features or games as the Service evolves.

15. Beta and Experimental Features

Knight Games may make beta, preview, test, or experimental features available from time to time.

These features may contain errors, change without notice, or be discontinued.

Information provided through beta testing, surveys, feedback tools, or bug-reporting systems may be used to diagnose problems and improve Knight Games.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Knight Games when reasonably necessary to:

  • enforce these Terms;
  • protect other users;
  • prevent fraud or abuse;
  • address security risks;
  • comply with applicable law; or
  • protect the Service and its infrastructure.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation.

You may stop using Knight Games at any time.

If you have a Knight Games account, you may request deletion using the account deletion functionality provided by the Service.

Certain information may be retained after account deletion when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or other legitimate purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

17. No Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Knight Games is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Service will always be available;
  • every game will operate without errors;
  • gameplay information or scores will always be preserved;
  • every feature will work with every device or browser;
  • defects will always be corrected; or
  • the Service will be free from every harmful or disruptive component.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Knight Games and those involved in operating the Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This may include loss of data, interrupted gameplay, lost game progress, loss of enjoyment, device problems, connectivity issues, or losses resulting from unauthorized account access.

Where applicable law does not permit certain limitations of liability, those limitations will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your intentional misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or unlawful conduct through Knight Games.

This provision does not require you to indemnify Knight Games for conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be required.

20. Changes to These Terms

Knight Games may update these Terms as the Service changes or as legal, security, or operational requirements evolve.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, update the effective date shown above, or use another reasonable method of notification.

Your continued use of Knight Games after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute that is permitted to be brought in court will be subject to the jurisdiction of an appropriate state or federal court serving Illinois, unless applicable law provides you with a different mandatory right or venue.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

23. No Waiver

If Knight Games does not enforce a provision of these Terms in a particular situation, that does not waive our right to enforce that provision in the future.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Knight Games Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a particular feature, form the agreement governing your use of the Service.
